A New Extension of Power Quasi Lindley Distribution with Properties and Applications of the Life Time data
Rashid Ganaie , V. Rajagopalan
Abstract
This manuscript approaches with the new model of power quasi Lindley distribution by using the version of length biased technique known as length biased power quasi Lindley distribution. We have investigated and executed its various mathematical and statistical properties such as reliability measures, order statistics, likelihood ratio test, entropies, income distribution curves and harmonic mean. We have also obtained and discussed its parameter estimation by using the method of maximum likelihood estimator and also executed its Fisher’s information matrix. Finally, the application of newly introduced model is demonstrated by applying the two real data sets using the new distribution, which shows that the length biased power quasi Lindley distribution fits quite satisfactory in analyzing real life time data sets.
