A NEW GENERALIZED POWER AKASH DISTRIBUTION WITH PROPERTIES AND APPLICATIONS IN SURVIVAL TIMES DATA
V. Rajagopalan , Aafaq A. Rather , Rashid A. Ganaie
Abstract
In this paper, we have introduced a new generalization of power Akash distribution known as weighted power Akash distribution. The different mathematical and statistical properties of the proposed distribution are derived and discussed. The parameters of the executed distribution are studied by using the method of maximum likelihood estimator and also the Fisher’s information matrices are studied. The application of the newly introduced distribution is also executed by inserting the two real life data sets to show the superiority of newly proposed distribution in analysing real life time data.
