Characterizations and Goodness of Fit of Sauleh Distribution with Applications in Food Security and Climate Change in Agriculture Production of India
Abstract
Here, a new study of Sauleh distribution termed as length biased Sauleh distribution has been established. The mathematical and statistical properties of the proposed distribution have been discussed and the model parameters are estimated by using the technique of maximum likelihood estimation. Finally, the distribution has been analysed and investigated with two real life data sets to demonstrate its goodness of fit. A numerical study is carried out in the agricultural production of India. The vulnerable factors of food security and climate change are also discussed.
