Abstract
This manuscript puts forth Alpha Power Ailamujia distribution as an extended version of Ailamujia distribution. Prominent properties of the model are expounded and parameter estimation is also worked out. An attempt to investigate the performance of the parameter estimation procedure employed is accomplished through a simulation study. The practical efficacy is validated utilizing a real-life dataset.
