Abstract

It was narrated by the investigating officer that some persons about 13-15 in number gathered in a room for having drink who came to attend a marriage function. All were sitting in a cordon/almost in oval shape circle in that room. Just then one person named Mr. ‘X’ entered in the room having a revolver and helmet, he put his helmet in the almirah and then he put the revolver in the alcove (of side wall), as he turned back after putting his revolver suddenly all persons heard a loud noise, in the meantime Mr. ‘Y’ got laid down and all got confused what had happened. All assumed that revolver had fired the bullet due to which Mr. ‘Y’ got injured. All the occupants rushed him to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. The I/O wanted to ascertain whether it was a case of homicide or otherwise.
