Sequential Imperfect Preventive Maintenance and Replacement Schedule for 8hp-pml Gold Engine Cassava Grinding Machine

Abstract

A sequential imperfect preventive maintenance and replacement schedule was obtained for 8hp-pml gold engine cassava grinding machine in this work using Lin, Zuo and Yam (2000) hybridized preventive maintenance (PM) and replacement models. The failure distribution of the cassava grinding machine was shown to follow a two parameter Weibull life distribution with respective shape and scale parameters;.The resulting PM and replacement plan provide effective maintenance schedule that guarantees optimum performance of the machine at specified cost levels.
