In the present study, some new modified ratio and regression estimators are designed for the estimation of finite population mean using estimated auxiliary information and analyze their properties. These estimators are compared, for their precision, with the regression, ratio and simple mean per unit under certain restrictions on the correlation coefficient between main and the auxiliary variables. The gain in efficiency over the existing ones has been illustrated numerically.
